Privacy Policy
Effective May 10, 2026 · Hozomo (hozomo.com)
Summary
Hozomo.com (“Hozomo,” “we,” “us”) publishes editorial music discovery. This Privacy Policy describes categories of information that may be collected or processed when you browse hozomo.com, use our cookie banner, email us, or follow outbound links to third-party listening services.
What we publish
Hozomo is not a streaming service. We do not host full-length audio for on-site playback. Pages may include search-style links to licensed platforms (for example Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Discogs, YouTube Music) and guidance to official artist websites.
Information categories
- Server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider may automatically collect technical data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We may use minimal first-party cookies (for example to remember cookie-banner consent). Third-party advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies when ads are displayed.
- Email correspondence. If you email editors@hozomo.com, we retain messages as needed to respond, document corrections, and maintain editorial records.
- Client-side homepage rotation. Some album highlights are chosen in your browser to keep the homepage fresh. This rotation does not require an account and does not, by itself, identify you to Hozomo.
Third-party services
Outbound links leave hozomo.com. Third-party sites have their own privacy policies and may collect data under their terms.
Advertising
Hozomo may use display advertising (including Google AdSense). Ad partners may process data for delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. You can manage many ad-related settings through your browser and industry opt-out tools.
Retention
We retain email and operational records only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Children
Hozomo is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact editors@hozomo.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices
You may disable cookies in your browser, use privacy-focused browsers, and use opt-out mechanisms offered by advertising self-regulatory programs where available.
